Building Networks of Support for Transformational Diagnoses

Nearly a year ago, our founder received a text from her dear friend Miranda: "I'm going through something big and I could use your help." Miranda had just been diagnosed with end-stage cancer.
What became clear through Miranda's journey was that navigating a transformational diagnosis requires more than medical care—it requires a network of support: schedulers, advocates, lawyers, financial advisors, nutritionists, clinical psychologists, social workers, massage therapists, and death doulas.
The Miranda Project addresses what we call Transformational Diagnoses: those moments when someone walks out of a doctor's office forever changed, whether facing an end-stage illness or beginning a fight with a real chance of winning.
Our goal is to create a network so robust that when clinicians deliver life-changing news, they can confidently connect patients to comprehensive support from day one. This one's for Miranda—and for everyone who shouldn't have to face the unthinkable alone.
